How to get credit for adding to this site
You will get a daily work grade for adding to this site each day. I will check each day at about noon to see who has posted in the last 24 hours. So, for example, if there is a post due for Wednesday, you will get credit if you posted anytime Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. Each time you add to this site,
you must include a log message or it won't be counted.
Note: for the first wiki assignment, you have a 48-hour window from noon on Tuesday, 10/13, to Thursday, 10/15, to contribute.
Options: Do at least one of these every day
- Add a quotation to an idea that we're already following. Be sure to include a bit of context and the page number.
- Start following a new idea. Go to home and make a link to your new page, with a title like "Bracelets" or "Watching the sky," or "Telling lies." Save your change, and then click on this link to create the new page. You need to add at least one example if you want to start following an idea. Add your log message to the new page that you create.
- Comment on a quotation somebody else posted. New comments are only useful if they add some kind of new idea. You can change other people's comments to make them flow better into your idea.
- Make a connection between two pages. On each page, add a link to the other page and explain why the two ideas are related.
