Characters

In parts of the novel Oskar's Grandfather is the narrator of the novel. He is often at a loss for words. He uses blank books to voice his opinion. Around the time he lost his voice was when he got married. He often uses multiple sentances to answer the same question. When he says "Help!" (22) nobody really understands why he is saying that, but mabey in a way he is just trying to get his words out.
